AGRU Employee Day: A Celebration for the Whole Family

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the grounds of AGRU Plant 6 transformed into a lively gathering place for this year's AGRU Employee Day. Under bright sunshine, over 1,500 guests – a new AGRU record – came together to experience an unforgettable day of fun, good food, and community.

Culinary Highlights and a Heart for Sustainability
 

The demand for the diverse selection of food and drinks was immense. An impressive 1,800 main courses, 1,500 pastries, and a staggering 2,500 scoops of the popular Buburuza ice cream were served. We are particularly committed to preventing food waste. Therefore, all leftover food at the end of the event was donated for a good cause, including to the parish festival taking place the next day.
 



Fun and Games for the Little Ones

 
The young visitors also enjoyed an extensive entertainment program that left nothing to be desired. Almost all of the 1,000 stamp passes, which children could fill out at various stations, were distributed. Whether it was football darts, can shooting, or golf – there was always lively activity at every attraction, and beaming children's eyes were the best proof of its success.

An absolute highlight of the day was the self-guided tour through the halls of Plant 6. For many families, this was a unique opportunity to gain a fascinating insight into the daily work of their partners, parents, or friends at AGRU. It was important for us to offer this transparency and showcase the exciting processes behind our products.
