In the first half of 2024, a new concrete protection project was realized in Antofagasta, Chile. Reinforced concrete in a large copper mine was effectively protected against corrosion with robust and reliable AGRU concrete protective liners.

In order to keep the concrete in critical areas as good as new in the long term, 1,000 m² of Ultra Grip concrete protection liners made of 5 mm HDPE with a non-slip surface and 300 kg of HDPE welding rod were used. The installation was carried out by an experienced local company.
